Relaunching in Sydney

China Clothing Textiles and Accessories Expo makes a long-awaited return to the shores of Sydney

The highly anticipated sourcing trade expo will be a key business event, connecting buyers, designers and retailers to 680+ manufacturers and suppliers of fashion apparel, accessories, footwear and home textiles.

Australasia’s most significant dedicated global sourcing event, returns to Sydney for the first time since 2017 following interruptions caused by the redevelopment of Sydney’s exhibition precinct and then the pandemic. Spanning across three days, the expo will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney from 11 to 13 July 2023.

The China Clothing Textiles and Accessories Expo, a proven platform for businesses looking to source clothing, home textiles, accessories and fabrics, offers trade visitors from across Australia and New Zealand access to the immense potential of the Chinese market.

At the core of the expo is the facilitation of efficient and effective business interactions. The event presents an unparalleled opportunity for buyers, retailers, designers, and manufacturers to establish direct and in person trade relationships, explore new markets and expand distribution channels.

To date 330 established and emerging companies from the breadth of China have confirmed their participation and will showcase their collections. Buyers will be able explore a diverse range of product categories across apparel, footwear, home textiles, homewares and accessories by a range of exhibitors who can cater for the diverse needs of the retail sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

“With the China Clothing Textiles and Accessories Expo, we aim to bridge the gap between Chinese and Australian fashion enterprises, fostering mutually beneficial collaborations and igniting new business opportunities,” said organiser, Melissa Wortley. Coming off the first post-pandemic event last November in Melbourne, she reported “We are delighted with the response to the expo. You can literally see visitors and exhibitors deep in conversation, examining garments, establishing connections and exploring opportunities to partner.”

Adding additional value to attendees’ time spent at the event is the Global Sourcing Expo. Showcasing another 350 companies from 13 countries around the world, the Global Sourcing Expo will be held right next door and visitors will be able to pass seamlessly between the two.  The Global Sourcing Seminar program tailored to the needs of trade visitors delves into crucial topics such as retail futures, supply chain management and sustainability. By adding a seminar ticket to their free registration, attendees can gain valuable insights into the latest industry trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics, equipping them with the necessary tools to make informed business decisions. Simply indicate on your registration form if you‘d like more detail.

The China Clothing Textiles and Accessories Expo will be held at the ICC Sydney from Tue 11 to Thu 13 July 2023.
